New Movie 'Conan the Barbarian'

When we think of Conan its safe to saw we think of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the man who was sold into slavery and seeks revenge against the warlord who massacred his tribe. Almost 30 years later the most legendary Barbarian of all time is back this summer. This legendary hero has been evolving for eight consecutive decades on the big and small screen, in games and comics, and in the imagination of it's fan base. In this reboot of Conan the Barbarian Jason Momoa dawns the sword as the fierce Cimmerian warrior who goes into epic battle against horrific monsters and impossible odds. Slightly adapted from the original works of Robert E. Howard but faithful to the mythology Conan must save the pureblood Tamara (Rachel Nichols) before the evil sorceress Marique (Rose McGowan) can sacrifice her and unleash a reign of supernatural evil that will threaten the great nations of Hyboria.

I sat down and spoke with Jason Momoa about dawning the iconic role, working with director Marcus Nisel, getting fit and his fight scenes, and who would win in a battle, Khal Drogo or Conan. I also had the opportunity to speak with Rachel Nichols and Rose McGowan about their not so typical characters, their fight scenes, and the extensive Conan information they had to work from. Check it out.
